DevOps for terra.bio, duos.org, and other projects from the Data Sciences Platform. Led creation of a new DevOps platform, supporting Kubernetes across Azure and Google Cloud and scaling to thousands of individual deployments per day. Implemented a cross-cloud access management system that provides just-in-time permissions to administrators, improving security posture. Focused platform on developer experience, including heavy emphasis on both a full-featured React UI and deep integration with GitHub Actions.

DevOps for terra.bio, duos.org, and other projects from the Data Sciences Platform. Developed new technique for database migrations across all services to improve reliability without requiring codebase changes. Built upon self-hosted GitHub Actions runner created during previous co-op, this time using Kubernetes to scale across all microservice repositories. Began development of new DevOps platform to handle scale beyond the traditional Git-ops approach.

Helped design secure data processing pipeline for the National Institute of Health’s All of Us project. Created self-hosted GitHub Actions runners with Terraform to meet project security and firewall requirements. Wrote new deployments scripts to scale to multiple isolated production environments.

Taught entry-level students functional programming and data-driven design. Led weekly labs and course-wide review sessions. Mentored and trained newer staff members.
