Free-to-play browser-based social game that provided remote companies a watercooler-like experience with proximity-based voice chat and a custom virtual office builder.

• Lead solo development on backend API written from the ground up in the Python framework Flask.

• Used the ORM library ‘Flask-SQLAlchemy’ to manage database migrations, indexes, and CRUD operations on the Postgres database.

• Utilized Redis to improve system performance by up to 5x by caching frequently accessed data and implemented pub/sub to enable real-time communication between different services, resulting in faster response times and improved user experience.

• Worked across the full stack, including building upon frontend user interfaces and websocket communication systems.
