The Recurse Center is a self-directed, community-driven educational retreat for programmers in New York City. I worked on several projects while I was there:
• A simple HTTP server in Haskell
• A clone of Space Invaders using C++ and NCurses
• I reverse-engineered and replicated the functionality of the N64 controller using the Teensy microcontroller to randomize inputs to games
• I used Twitter’s API to create a bot that read from my IRC log history and used a custom Markov library to post Tweets
