I am currently creating apps for Android based smart phones using Java and the upcoming Blackberry 10 platform using Qt/C++ and QML (a javascript based declarative language for Qt-based GUIs.) My game Solo Dungeon Bash currently has over 10,000 downloads from the Google Play store.

Also as a consultant I have built websites for organizations and small businesses using Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, HTML5 and Javascript. A recent public example of this can be found at http://www.jerseycitysaicenter.org/, a Hindu temple. This is a validated HTML5 based single-page site using YUI for the Javascript parts and a little bit of PHP for a feature which required fetching data from another site. An interesting thing I learned from this assignment was managing customer expectations and communicating technical concepts to relatively non-technical users.
