Rotation 3 - Mobile Developer @ NBCU Apps Platforms Team
• Developing frontend features for the CNBC tvOS applications critical to the release of the new CNBC+ streaming service
• Gaining hands-on experience in the end-to-end mobile app distribution process to ensure efficient app review procedures and timely releases
Rotation 2 - Software Engineer @ Comcast Personalized Customer States Team
• Migrated the main database - processing over 20,000 calls per minute - from Redis to ScyllaDB, which allowed the team to achieve high-availability, maintain latency targets, and save over 40% in database costs
• Completed Data Engineering validations in Databricks to detect and resolve data quality issues, guaranteeing application performance and accuracy were continuously meeting the standards of the business
Rotation 1 - Web Developer @ NBCU Content Services Team
• Set up robust dashboards, monitoring, and alerting for the team’s internal web application to expedite future debugging & development and provide valuable insight into the application’s usage and performance
• Led the frontend and backend development of a new Admin Screen feature, shifting repetitive tasks to the application’s admin users, rather than these tasks diverting focus away from developers’ priorities
