Both MyFitnessPal and MapMyFitness mobile applications see traffic at scale with millions of daily active users. I supported both applications and my role as a Senior Software Engineer included:

• Planning, architecting, building, monitoring, and operating production microservices and a monolith deployed with home rolled and managed infrastructure, including Kubernetes, mainly on AWS

• Architecting, configuring, monitoring, and operating data ETL pipelines orchestrated by Apache Airflow on both Google Cloud and AWS infrastructure

Researcher and developer in the IBM Cloud Emerging Technology lab, responsible for productizing research efforts such as IBM Watson and IBM Bluemix.

• Architected and built an internal product for automating creating, training, evaluating, deploying, and scoring machine learning models via web APIs.
