Provide technical leadership for several product and engineering efforts within

SailPoint's SaaS-based identity governance product, IdentityNow. During my time

there this has included key end user functionality in such areas as access request,

segregation of duties, and tagging. In addition to contributing code myself, I

conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and make sure work is properly

aligned with organizational priorities.

Continuously work with product management to ensure that both committed

features and necessary engineering work are given appropriate weight when

making schedule and resource decisions.

Oversee the ongoing release of several component microservices, including necessary

monitoring and troubleshooting. Develop and execute phased enablement of features

in production environments for those microservices.

Served as a key member of the API steering committee, which led the effort to

define, implement, and deploy a new set of public and internal REST APIs for the

SailPoint SaaS Platform. In addition to coding, this work included refining API

standards, developing supporting processes, and overseeing the review of all REST

endpoints for compliance with those standards

Continuing in lead engineer role for Seasoned, a spin-off venture which is building on HotSchedules Recruit as its technology foundation.

Providing technical leadership to a distributed team of developers in Austin, San Francisco, and L'viv, Ukraine.

Guided team in transition to a more agile feature-based release process.

Rebuilding the product's recommendation engine on top of the Neo4j graph database.

Lead engineer for HotSchedules Recruit, a referral-based hiring solution for the restaurant industry, built on top of a social network. Recruit had over 400,000 members and was serving over 14,000 restaurants as of early 2017.

Wrote large portions of the Recruit server-side code, primarily in Java; also contributed Javascript, ES6, and SQL code as needed. Special areas of focus included REST APIs, performance, application security, user data privacy, third party integrations, custom user email generation, caching, and graph databases.

Refactored Apache and IIS web server plugins for Open Text High-Performance Delivery (HPD), which provides web-tier caching of dynamic content for high-volume web sites.

Implemented third party login with Facebook, Twitter, Google, and other OAuth/OpenID based authentication services.

Implemented single sign-on and integrated user management with other Open Text products.

Worked on chat server integration and clustering.

Initiated design and implementation of REST API for OTTS.
