• Hybrid QA role utilizing different styles of manual and automation testing on front and back ends to ensure all test cases are properly handled and products remain functional on a multitude of web applications on biweekly releases

• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product owners to test and ensure new and existing functionalities and features meet deadlines that gave 15% increase to team productivity

• Develop, deploy, and fix automation code and test data using Selenium, WebDriver, Protractor, and Cypress frameworks. Also assisted the automation team in migrating 85% of automation code to the Cypress framework

• Design new regression test cases, modify existing cases, and lead testing projects to build clients’ confidence in their product that help streamline the underwriting process and boost 20% more test coverage

• Reduce and complete regression testing to within two business days by automating manual test cases, completing assigned cases and assisting teammates with their cases with over 90% success rate every biweekly sprint

• Create PostgreSQL queries to ensure all data in policies remain intact throughout different databases and verify no data has been corrupted

• Responsible covering, testing, and leading projects and coworkers on multiple teams on a rotational basis to ensure 60-80% quarterly goals are completed

• Mentor and provide guidance to new and current team members on testing strategies and methodologies that help save 10% of productivity time during the biweekly sprint

• Devise and implement different styles of manual and automated regression testing to make sure all test cases are properly handled and products remain functional

• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, scrum managers, and product owners to test and ensure existing and additional functionalities/processes meet deadlines for customer satisfaction through JIRA

• Create, write, and publish documentation on products showcasing new capabilities, addressing issues, and providing step-by-step instructions

• Test new and existing functionalities on web and mobile applications such as Windows, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and iOS on different testing environments to enhance product user-ability

• Lead engineer responsible for products such as Analytics and Analytics+, responding to any issues found from testing or client support

o Also serve as backup QA engineer for other products when other QA engineers are not available or need assistance
