Replatforming the Web Stack (June 2014 - Jan 2016)

• Part of a team which replatformed the web stack from Java to NodeJS

• Worked with the SRE and Release Engineering teams to develop a new streamlined deployment pipeline, which reduced the cycle time and increased visibility of Production to developers

Hotel Product Tech Lead (March 2012 - June 2014)

• Team Lead on our effort to replatform our web stack by developing and deploying prototypes, starting with our company's flagship product, using modern web technologies in order to achieve an agile development process

• Worked with our Engineering Support team to change our deployment pipeline to allow for more frequent deploys and reduced cycle times

Mobile Group (June 2011 – March 2012)

• Responsible for maintaining our mobile API for our hotel and rental car products

• Lead the design, architecture and implementation of the API for a brand new product called "Tonight Only Deals" which offered special discounts for our mobile app users if they were checking in same day

Marketing Group (Jan 2008 – June 2011)

• Lead the design, architecture and implementation of many Marketing incentives such as an home brew CMS system, URL shortening service, automated promotional e-mail based on uncompleted transactions, and replatforming the Priceline homepages from ASP to Java

Airline Product (Jan 2005 – Dec 2007)

• Developed new features as well as monitored and fixed Production errors which increased conversion of the product

• Designed and developed new products such as Air+Car packages that allowed for incremental business

• Developed Java Servlets, JSP pages, PHP pages, JavaScript, CGI scripts in Perl, and HTML for various sites and sitelets

• Project lead on sites such as Just Retail, an online recruiting site for the retail industry, Herpes Help, a medical informational site, and Moneyopolis, an educational site for elementary students

• Project lead for internal software development projects such as our company's Contact Management System, Rich Media E-mail Campaign System, and IMAP Archiving Tool.

• As project lead, I was responsible for software code design and implementation, as well as database schema design

• Performed administrative duties on UNIX boxes that were used for site development, quality assurance, and staging for clients
