Designed the complete end-to-end experience for the Real Estate Ledger platform helping homeowners, property managers, and builders organize their real estate documentation and assets. Took it from concept to MVP-ready in about three months.
Started with information architecture, solving how to handle everything from single-family homes to 60-unit complexes in one system. Designed a structure that worked for homeowners managing one place and builders managing entire developments.
Built the full design system using Shadcn UI and Tailwind. Designed all core flows: properties/units management with contextual dashboards, document upload with AI categorization, report generation, vendor management, user permissions, activity timelines, and expense tracking.
A lot of the work was making complex data feel simple, showing property values from multiple sources (Zillow, Redfin, Realtor), handling warranties and maintenance schedules, tracking assets across units, while keeping it clean enough that someone could just upload a document without overthinking it.
Did product thinking around multi-tenant stuff too, things like permissions, what settings live at the property group vs the unit level, report templates, digital evidence cards that stay consistent across the app.
Worked directly with the dev team through sprint reviews, demoed designs, and adjusted things in real-time. An interesting challenge was designing for totally different use cases, from someone tracking their furnace warranty to builders needing transfer-ready Docs for 60 condos. Same platform, different jobs to be done.
