Morgan Stanley Wealth Management

Java architecture lead for security, migration, and modernization of an extensive suite of internally and externally facing applications encompassing Wealth Management platforms. Served as part of the core architecture group to design security, scalability, and maintainability improvements. Coordinated with groups across firm including library engineers, infrastructure groups and performance and operational teams.

Led the architectural and software design specifications for the Vantage product--a client-facing web stack and API which provides consolidated pricing and reference data from disparate enterprise systems for increased transparency in the firm's fixed income pricing. While driving efforts to normalize system architecture, speed time to market, and mentor team of front and back end engineers on site responsiveness, scaling, and streaming data flows, performed extensive hands-on work to optimize performance in multi-terabyte data storage and retrieval.
