Fandiem is the donation platform that harnesses the power of the fan community to make positive change, running campaigns and sweepstakes with musicians and celebrities to raise money for non-profits. I had the opportunity to build out their infrastructure, manage a small team of engineers, and work in a very high-pressure, time-sensitive context, where everything happened in front of a live audience.
• Planned and implemented full app architecture with AWS Cloudfront, S3, RDS, and Lambdas
• End to end development of entire web app from the ground up with Full Stack ReactJS, NodeJS, Rails, & Shopify E-Commerce
• Coordinated engineering needs with live stream festivals like Georgia Comes Alive, LA Gives Back, and “Save Tipitina’s” Benefit
• Admin UI for drafting contests, brands, automating sweepstakes, auctions,subscriptions
• I managed and helped hire a small engineering team
• I set the company’s code standards and advised the founders on overall digital strategy
