• Investigated carbon molecular sieve hollow fiber membranes for syn gas separation, high purity oxygen production, and tritium separation from helium
• Researched extrusion and rheology of highly filled (up to 95% filler) polymers
• Participated in unique projects across 3 different departments and utilized techniques/equipment, including SEM, EDAX, optical microscopy, helium pycnometry, twin screw extrusion and compounding, melt flow indexer, DSC, TGA, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy, custom pressure systems, spray coating, and dip coating
• Maintained test stands/lab equipment, trained new personnel, maintained chemical inventory of 500 chemicals, authored progress reports, co-authored 3 manuscripts, and several operating procedures
