• Spearheaded the complete overhaul of Splunk's core administrative experience and crafted a 3 year vision that enables admin users to manage user identity, configure data, and monitor performance all in one place.

• Led an effort to create a brand new dashboarding & code editor product that allows customers to seamlessly create charts and dashboards to monitor machine data, without having to learn Splunk's coding language.

• Partnered closely with senior executives to spearhead an initiative to modernize the internal employees' financial experience, transforming processes from procurement and expense management to revenue management and financial closing.

2015-2018

• Led a cross-functional team of over 30 engineers, product managers, data scientists, and researchers in designing and implementing Excel Ideas. This groundbreaking feature provides automated insights such as trends, outliers, and correlations for any dataset with a single click. Successfully deployed to millions of users worldwide.

• Pioneered the design and implementation of a natural language search capability within Excel, enabling users to ask any question about their data.

• Played a pivotal role in all stages of product development, including vision creation, feature prioritization, visual design, interaction design, prototyping, research, and hands-on coding.

• Actively engaged in mentoring and guiding interns and junior designers, fostering their growth and development.

• Worked as the sole UX designer, directly reporting to the CTO. Designed the entire v1 product from inception, providing data scientist customers to train and compare ML models using a dashboard that supports 20+ visualizations.

• Designed an Excel add-in specifically tailored for data wrangling, alongside a solution dashboard catering to a large healthcare customer, while also supporting Marketing and Sales efforts.

• Independently redesigned UW Library websites to improve discoverability by creating personas, using card sorting, and conducted research from surveys and 40+ 1:1 user interviews.
