Software engineer focused on privacy, compliance, and large-scale backend infrastructure. At Meta, I build systems that help enforce privacy requirements across ads and data platforms, automate previously manual compliance workflows, and improve engineering reliability through tooling and platform investments.

Build privacy and compliance infrastructure for large-scale backend systems, with a focus on automation, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Led privacy enforcement and policy rollout across 100+ services and 1,200+ async jobs, helping scale compliance coverage across ads infrastructure.
• Designed and drove migration of 180+ data access call sites to a new client-side enforcement model, enabling privacy-compliant access for a large share of production read traffic.
• Built AI-assisted classification systems for internal data assets and feature groups, reducing manual audit work and improving classification quality; achieved 90%+ precision/recall for a key asset class.
• Developed automation and codemods that scaled privacy and enforcement adoption across many teams, significantly reducing manual engineering effort.
• Improved platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident review, and roadmap ownership as a team reliability lead/champion.
• Contributed to AI-enabled engineering tooling, including systems for evaluating code review quality and improving engineering workflow visibility.

• Contribute to building different applications from the lowest layer (supply/inventory) that communicates with airfare consolidators to the highest layer that exposes our endpoints to our frontend/customers in a multi-layer architecture system using Java 11 and Spring boot
• Implement the REST API platform using Spring-reactive for handling high volume requests.
• Implement the PCI masking module based on regex matching for log messages of the entire layer to ensure the security of clients’ credential information
• Develop the request/response summarization module for sending concise data to our Kafka/Splunk system
• Create multiple Splunk panels for tracking applications status from different aspects (request number, error percentage, error reason codes, etc) to facilitate debugging production issues
• Deploy applications through company-wide CI/CD system consisted of Bamboo, Harness, Higgins and GKE

Launched new version website to replace 5 years old design and architecture for Corpobids, a venue agency startup like Expedia with a reverse auction system for meeting allocation. Led backend development and AWS services deployment
• Redesigned user management system for current 25 thousand users and future users from session cookie to stateless JWT token assigning different accessibility to API; enhanced security of website, resulting server running safely from first day for 12 months and continuing
• Implemented searching system based on Spring Data JPA, PostgreSQL and JPA Specification, permitting users to generate flexible search criteria; increased usability and reduced code duplication by 30%
• Developed email notification based on Spring Mail and Java Mail, allowing sending email to users about new responses, resulting in a decrease of response time from 1 day to 4 hours average
• Integrated Priceline API to populate and update over 50 thousand of hotels data
• Improved data loading speed by 60% by improving Hibernate’s fetching strategy
• Deployed dockerized server image using AWS including ElasticBeanstalk, EC2, S3, RDS and Lambda; reduced server running cost by 40% while adding auto-scalability of entire system
