• Currently building a comprehensive set of standardized, repeatable patterns powered by metadata that teams can use to create consistency across various products and enhance overall user experience.

• Improved the time-to-value for data activation by building simpler, more intuitive mapping setup flows.

• Built a self-service developer portal enabling our third-party partners to build, test, and manage integrations with Segment.

Segment's Destination Actions framework enables customers to control how data gets sent from various sources to downstream destinations. As part of the Build Experience team, I worked on improving the UI and overall experience with configuring these destinations.

• Led the design and development of a new web application (Angular 9, Lua, Docker, AWS) that tracked user entitlement requests of over 5,000 associates, saving roughly 200+ hours worked (Capital One's Q4 2020 Tech Excellence finalist).

• Built a private API with mutual-SSL authentication and created Postman collections for testing.

• Set up Jenkins pipeline and managed infrastructure using AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Route53, ECS, etc).

• Migrated existing UI from AngularJS to Angular 9 and Java API codebase with Spring framework to Lua.

• Enhanced mobile payment experiences with virtual number, Apple Pay, and PayPal iOS integrations, leading to 12K tokenizations and $1.2M spend in 2019.

• Enabled customers to add their C1 credit cards to PayPal directly from the Capital One application through PayPal push provisioning, increasing total spend on PayPal by 200% in one year.

• Incorporated accessibility, analytics, internationalization, and unit tests for all features.

• Established proficiency in full stack development as part of an intensive, six-month software engineering training program.

• Integrated Snowflake data with React to build automated graphs for various metrics.
