Apollo is building the next generation of GraphQL tooling for developers working with APIs. Apollo creates tools to help organizations implement and collaborate on their data graph layer, including supporting workflows for graph managers responsible for producing the graph in their organization, and graph consumers responsible for implementing the graph in their applications.
I led product design for the Graph Development Group, focused on building Apollo Studio, a developer collaboration platform for GraphQL API maintainers and consumers. I was embedded with an engineering team as a PDE triad lead responsible for shaping and evolving product experience.

Worked with several long-running teams throughout the organization as the embedded product lead to help bring new features to life for the millions of developers who use GitHub every day. Responsible for product strategy, user research, product design process, shipping production code to GitHub.com (HTML/CSS/Ruby/Rails), and launch planning.
Worked on core product features such as Code Review Requests, Code Owners, Protected Branches, Integrations Directory, Package Registry, and the Status Checks API.
I also worked with the Training Team to explore an experimental solution, the Creative Department to support marketing efforts, the pricing team to support a major overhaul of the GitHub pricing model, the new user experience team to create drip email campaigns, a user growth team to ship multivariate experiments for user growth, and I even made a few Octocats.
