I work on Red Hat Satellite, an application that is used to manage on-premise system infrastructure. I've worked in all areas of the stack, from the database to the front-end.
Some of my key responsibilities and contributions:
• Designs and leads implementation of features, collaborating across a global team using agile methodologies
• Core contributor to the open source infrastructure management project Katello, an upstream component of Red Hat Satellite
• Assists Fortune 500 customers with architecture, design, and troubleshooting of their Red Hat Satellite infrastructure
• Creator and owner of Satellite Clone, a collection of Ansible playbooks to clone a Red Hat Satellite environment
• Represented Red Hat Satellite at Red Hat Summit 2019, leading a team that ran lab sessions demoing the latest Satellite version to current and prospective customers.
• Created and maintain backup, restore, and hostname management utilities to help users configure and maintain their Satellite environments.
• Made significant back-end changes to assist with distributed proxy content syncing.
• Introduced the concept of AppStreams into Satellite, which is a way Red Hat Enterprise Linux manages multiple versions of the same RPM package on a system.
• Rewrote a major page in React and a newer version of Patternfly (Red Hat UI library).
