• Led writing of successful proposal for five-year, $43M contract at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), doubling the company’s revenue and headcount; developed technical vision and wrote key sections
• Staffed, managed, and provided technical direction for group of 25 engineers and product managers building infrastructure, automation, shared services, and tools supporting HealthCare.gov, Medicare.gov, and other CMS properties
• Led development and operations of critical HealthCare.gov services that scaled to 83,000 requests per minute and exhibited 100% uptime over the past three Open Enrollment periods
• Designed and developed platform that integrates data from AWS, GitHub, Jira, and other data sources to provide organization-wide DevOps metrics to government leaders
• As member of executive team, designed company policies, guided hiring decisions, and fostered culture of collaboration and pragmatism; achieved employee-satisfaction index of 87% in 2024
