C++ dev focused on our low-latency order entry platform

• Developed and presented a prototype C++ “performance HAL” that significantly reduces tail latencies and slightly improves across-the-board latencies when compared to existing runtime.

• Developed an generalized Perfetto trace analysis framework to improve performance insights.

• Investigated additional opportunities for performance improvements using standard Linux APIs.

• Designed and implemented (mostly performance-related) improvements to evaluation and hole instance numbering in Hazel, an experimental live programming environment with typed holes developed by the Future of Programming Lab (FPLab) at the University of Michigan.

• Implemented the fill-and-resume optimization as initially described in Omar et al. (2019).

• Develop lesson materials and perform lecture for ECE210: MATLAB Seminar, an introduction to MATLAB with applications from the corequisite course ECE211: Signals and Systems.

• Lead review sessions for ECE211 assessments.

• Led one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions for undergraduate math classes (MA110, MA111, MA113, MA223, MA224, MA326), and CS classes (CS101, ECE160, ECE264, ECE357, ECE365, ECE366).
