Design director role in collaboration with a number of engineers and artist on a variety of incubator projects including Microsoft Layout.

The HoloLens Experience Team is a small studio of creatives and developers. Our mission is to build experiences that show the world the differentiated value of mixed reality. As design director I was accountable for the research, planning and implementation of our HoloLens experiences. I lead our team through the creative process from brainstorm & prototyping to shipping and demos.

The projects were split between internal proof of concept demos, V1 products and external "Vision Labs" projects. Vision Labs are partnerships with some very high profile and exciting external entities to bring them through our creative process and prime them in developing for HoloLens and mixed reality. They left the 2-3 week sessions with a kick starter code base, prototypes and concept videos.

Office Core UX - Led design of a UX framework and the following areas across the Office

suite: gestures & touch principles, shared controls, motion principles & language. This work

included designing across multiple platforms (Windows, Android, iOS, Windows Phone) and

multiple form factors, scaling from small mobile devices to large screens.

Solved complex interaction problems dealing with object selection and manipulation, cross

platform cohesion, device scalability and multiple input methods.

Delivered over 100 redlines for motion and visual design to be implemented by multiple feature

crews.
