Litigate in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Client agencies include HHS, FBI, DHS, CIA, NSA, FCC, DOJ, OSC, OMB, EPA, ATF, SBA, Department of State, Export-Import Bank, among others.
Successfully defended federal agencies in jury trials in federal district court. For example, defended the FBI at trial in Youssef v. Lynch, No. 11-1362 (D.D.C.), against retaliation claim brought by former management official in the Bureau's Counterterrorism Division. Obtained jury verdict in favor of Defendant.
