• Acted as our de facto data platform engineer by supporting our data replication system that powers multiple key products.

• Led effort to identify, trial, and select a new provider for our data replication system. Spoke with multiple vendors as main point of contact. Performed POCs of each vendor. Worked with other stakeholders to gain consensus and make final selection.

• Played major role in initiative to reduce excess logging. Created charts to expose high throughput and large logs, then identified and removed low value, high volume offenders.

Planned and built scalable, full-stack features for our web application and external API that serves millions of requests daily. Used React, Node, PostgreSQL, Redis, Redshift, and DMS. Monitored performance and triaged issues using Datadog and OpenSearch.

Worked on the order ingestion microservices using .NET Core and gRPC.

Performed responsibilities from associate role along with the following: created build and deployment pipelines for two projects, consisting of Azure pipelines and SQL database administration; mentored younger associates; was primary architect and tech lead for an internal site.
