Projects Built:

• Built NWS alert parsing system that plots alerts on map & sends location specific notifications. This system successfully parses many NWS weather products at real-time render alerts faster than the NWS

• Architected/Built an API to interact with geospatial weather data with location specific coordinates, for several different weather models

• Implemented Agile workflow methodologies for development team, to increase productivity & accountability standards

• Rearchitecting/implementing database structures to be more scalable for the future

• Reorganizing projects on bare metal servers to maximize server efficiency & to ensure high availability with BAM products.

• Architected a new design system layout that was fully accessible

• Rewrote many sql queries & various one off scripts that were not performant or took too long to load or previoiusly timed out, Best performance increase tracked took a script from 15 minutes to process to 34 seconds.

• Added monitoring system for capturing error information on majority of BAM applications

• Added version control to many legacy applications

Objective:

Convert legacy application to use modern technology i.e. React. As well as build out MANY new features.

Projects Built:

• Employer Benchmarking Feature, tables & dropdowns that filtered & matched similar employers for side by side comparison reporting, originally built in backbone later rebuilt in react.

• I helped implement & build a design system that was fully accessible that vastly increased engineering efficiency & productivity in developing new features & making it easy to rebrand the companys website in minutes.

• Helped implement a co-branding view layout of the main springbuk application to be re-skinned for other companies to make it look like their own product.

• Implemented csv reports that's main use was to identify users of the system, the accounts they belonged to, the features they had access to, & the level of Protected Health Care Information that had access to.

• Refactored many cucumber/capybara tests

• Built interactive charts & graphs to compare different metrics across an employer population

• Built several filters for analyzing smaller portions of an employers health population.

• co-architected & implemented ability to create read update & delete groups of individuals & filter by them in the application

• Implemented new security upgrades for user account feature access

• Rebuilt many other small UI widgets dropdowns, filterbars, buttons, links, alerts, tables, graphs of all kinds.

At IUPUI I was responsible for tutoring intro to HTML and CSS, intermediate HTML and CSS, Advanced HTML and CSS, intro to javascript, and intermediate javascript. I helped students comprehend programming concepts they struggled with in class in a one on one environment.

I helped automate their client on boarding process to take as much pressure off the sales team as possible. I helped build a client on boarding survey for Springbuk that helped with data collection early on in the on boarding process. I learned how TDD (Test Driven Development), github, and Ruby on Rails works with in an agile development workshop. I created the majoriy of the views for the project as well as pdf creation and automated emails, I wrote the majority of the rspec and cucumber tests, and most of the validation for completing a survey.
