OCBC AI lab is an in-house research lab developing AI bank applications. OCBC is a pioneer being one of the first banks to establish a dedicated AI lab since 2018.

• Key Engineer in a small impactful team developing OCBC Wingman, an in-house AI coding assistant built for VS Code and IntelliJ IDEs, integrated with LLMs hosted on-premise

• Lead the automatic code completion feature for Wingman, and demo-ed the code completion feature to firm wide engineers. Contributed to AI chatbot fine-tuned for coding tasks and code debugging features.

• Successfully rolled out to 2,000 software engineers across OCBC Group's international offices increasing the productivity of the engineers by 20%.

• One of the key engineers building company’s main product which aims to enable self-driving e-commerce brands.

• Built Automation services(Pricing Automation, Pay-per-click(PPC) Ads Automation, and Store Automation for Amazon Merchants) from POC stage to Production using Airflow, Hasura, SQS, PostgreSQL, Business Rules Engine and various NPM modules for the Frontend.

• Lead engineer for Auth microservice; migrated 100% from self-hosted Keycloak to AWS Cognito, moving authentication and authorization services to the AWS platform.

• Designed and built access control system (RBAC, ACL) for user level and organization level using Hasura role-based authorisation and database operation permissions and AWS Cognito user pool and identity pool.
