Software engineer

An intensive training program designed to equip New Yorkers with the skills necessary to launch careers in web development. This program includes three months of intensive, full-time on-campus training, including classes/lectures, individual, pair and group programming projects, code challenges, presentations and more.

Studied a variety of web development languages, frameworks, and libraries in-depth, including Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, Javascript, jQuery, SQL, ActiveRecord, Git, HTML, CSS, React, and Redux

Collaborated on project teams to develop and present a variety of web-based applications and build web development skills and efficiency, including sockets integration, o-auth functionality, while adhering to the presentational/container React design pattern.

* Communicated with front-office traders and outside vendors to coordinate 3rd party trade

settlements

* Provided risk analysis and reconciliation of failed trades

* Used VBA macros and created aliases for given trade settlement instructions in order to automate

daily trade practices

* Assisted the FX-software development team to troubleshoot bugs associated with recently

deployed applications
