• Led a multi-team initiative to redesign and implement a new architecture for designer cloud, our cloud product for data prep&blend. Shipped a beta in 4 months and GAed in 8.
• Oversee technical direction for multiple projects, reviewing/producing designs and doing code review
• Primary contributor to our low-latency, multi-cloud, distributed job orchestrator (nodejs, k8s, bullmq, kafka, redis)
• Member of the architecture team, responsible for big picture architecture designs and standards reviews
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers across the company, upskilling developers and accelerating engineering velocity.
• Keynote presenter at the 2025 Inspire Data Analytics Conference, presenting a part of the AI vision at Alteryx.

2022 — 2024
• Launched the app builder product from concept to production
• Built a low latency, horizontally scalable, load balanced websocket api backed by redis with automatic reconnection and session continuity. (redis, nodejs, typescript)
• Architected and rolled out an autoscaling real-time job orchestration engine with <20ms overhead per job, with support for idle workers, conditional logic, partial executions, automatic job retries, and more. (nodejs, typescript, python, redis, k8s, keda, docker, kafka), that has run millions of production jobs to date without any failures
• Presented a new product concept "Tool Studio" to over 4000 people live at the Inspire Data Analytics Conference in Las Vegas.
• Member of the extended architecture team, responsible for big picture architectural challenges, standards, and decisions.
• Resolved multiple production outages, ranging from configuration issues, code bug, infra outages, database outages, etc.
• Built out release, observability, and SDLC strategies + process for the App Builder product.
• Built several complex UI features with react, typescript, redux, for our highly interactive, drag-and-drop app building UX.
• Own/maintain 6 microservices in production with various technology stacks
• Led a temporary platform team and built a multi cloud kubernetes operator that is responsible for scaling idle job worker pools up in a customers infrastructure to support a “bring-your-own-compute” model (Go, Kafka, Redis, kubernetes)
2021 — 2022
2021 — 2022
• Architected/Implemented a high volume node analytics event microservice that processes over 60 million events daily
• Service Owner for several frontend and backend services, including a React SPA, a React Component Library, and multiple node microservices. Responsibilities included security, maintenance, release management, deploys, CICD pipelines, code quality, and hot fixes
• Participated in on-call bugs duty rotation, responsible for triaging and resolving all customer reported issues in real time
• Acted as tech lead across multiple epics/projects/initiatives, serving as the interface between the product team, the design team, and the engineering team
• Regularly worked with TypeScript, React, Material-UI, Ruby, Rails, Java, Spring Boot, Postgres, Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes

• Updated large portions of the React UI to meet company branding, styling, and usability guidelines
• Set up tooling to monitor distributed app performance and identified several performance bottlenecks across services and UI
• Led a performance team that reduced p95 of core services by a factor of 10 over a period of two months
• Migrated several endpoints from monolithic services into new microservices
• Built complex, cross-browser compatible UI components such as rich text editors with support for emojis, auto completion, shortcuts, attachments, and more
• Monolith decomposition and service architecture
