(December 2014 - November 2016)
Develop a secure, resilient, and scalable data ingestion solution for high-volume data
• Utilize open-source products, such as Flume, Kafka, and Spark, to provide a reliable and trustworthy product
• Package all services within Docker images for portability and distribution
• Participate in the design and implementation of all areas of the project; e.g., solution architecture, code development, testing (unit and functional), deployment, VPC configuration, etc.
Significant Accomplishments
• Spearheaded the creation of the Dev/Ops infrastructure for the project; TeamCity for CI, Artifactory for binary storage (JAR libraries/Docker images), and numerous cloud-hosted VMs for developer environments and build agents
• Designed and developed one-click process to deploy Docker packaged services from Intel internal Artifactory to AWS
(July 2011 - December 2014)
Work in a highly collaborative environment with a team of engineers using agile methodologies (such as SCRUM) to create and maintain software in support of the Intel(R) vPro(TM) Platform.
• Work with C/C++, C#, and Java in security related applications
• Use of the native Windows APIs including CryptoApi
• Work with cryptography standards such as ASN.1, SSL, x509 Certificate based PKI, etc.
• Develop software using editing tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse
Significant Accomplishments:
• Designed and implemented a fully-featured Unit Test framework similar to JUnit for usage in a limited embedded Java Virtual Machine. The framework was accepted by the SDK team for this JVM.
• Developed a general purpose ASN.1 encoder/decoder to run in a limited embedded Java Virtual Machine. Module is included in a released product.
• Developed custom HTTP parsers in both C# and Java.
