• Created and stored a representation of an execution graph (DAG) to include data that was previously unavailable in the system

• Optimized partial execution by loading the DAG, analyzing its edges, and using it determine which operators had to be rescheduled

• Fixed bugs relating to the memoization functionality in the existing system

• Improved an internal regression testing tool by implementing smart unified diffs based on content type with multiple levels of fallback

• Helped build an internal publisher-subscriber system to follow a more microservice oriented pattern

• Contributed to building a service orchestrator by implementing retrying and circuit breaking logic

• Developed a webhooks microservice to improve customers' notification experience and avoid unnecessary polling

• Iterated on architecture for the webhooks microservice, experimenting with various technologies to choose the best tools

The hackNY Fellows Program is an intensive program designed to introduce students to NYC's startup ecosystem by pairing the best technical minds with great New York startups. Local startups are carefully selected for the program and demonstrate both innovative tech and a strong mentoring environment. Fellows contribute meaningfully at their paid internship and learn from their work, the curated Speaker Series, and their fellow hackers.
