Full Stack Engineer

Currently working on the KSL Classifieds, a classifieds marketplace, team and have worked on KSL Services a Utah business listing service and Utah.com a vacation and recreation in Utah site.

Engineering Manager

• Lead both customer facing and business facing Classifieds teams-7 developers

• Work directly with product managers, directors and stakeholders to collect and refine project requirements

• Breakdown complex projects into stories for team to execute

• Collaborate across teams (finance, development, operations, customer experience, analytics, & search)

• Work with scrum masters, qa and dev teams to refine development processes

• Manage overseas team members (SoftServe-Ukraine)

• Meet 1-on-1 with team members to stay connected on a personal level and resolve work concerns

• Mentor new and challenging team members through 1-on-1’s and pair/team programming

Currently developing a Barter API that will be used in the backend of a Facebook application. This project will run on several servers in order to meet its high traffic needs.

Produced design documents complete with db modeling schematics and full PHPdoc documentation for proposed API

Developed/maintained custom web applications and ecommerce sites for small businesses

Experience with unit testing in automated testing environment

Prepared detailed estimates used to plan and schedule project development
