I managed an IT portfolio of 130 web and mobile based applications and coordinate the identification, bundling, planning, scheduling, reporting and measuring of all application work, including off-cycle and emergency releases. My ability to resolve roadblocks and mitigate risks enabled successful application releases. I partnered cross-functionally to drive organizational objectives and ensured adherence to the Enterprise Release Calendar and Change management process guidelines. I also coordinated the development of comprehensive release implementations, validations, and back-out plans.
➧ My efforts have enabled me to achieve the highest business engagement score for the asset suite, primarily by optimizing release planning and bundling processes to accommodate cross-functional prioritization of demand by enabling greater visibility, managing IT capacity, and evaluating competing work requests.
➧ Utilizing continuous integration and continuous deployment tools within the DevOps framework I was able to improve release frequency significantly from once a month to twice every week.
➧ People are our greatest asset and I was able to facilitate the development of a robust entry-level talent pool by managing multiple aspects of the IT internship program including demand identification, budgeting recruiting, planning, and coordinating resource engagement.
➧ My efforts to position the BSA as an enterprise leader for successfully adopting DevOps led me to be recognized by the company's EVP and CIO.
