Developed highly customized web applications built using JSP and deployed on WebLogic for small banks, credit unions, and other finance companies to simplify and organize background checks and loan processing. Most work involved diagnosing and repairing bugs, typically with a large degree of input from the end clients, and designing and implementing new features.
· Languages used included Java, JSP, SQL(Microsoft SQL server 2000 and 2005), JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSLT, Ant scripting, and Bash scripting.
· Primarily responsible for designing and building a web service centered application to act as a secure proxy between our systems and our clients systems. Included: Socket programing, a pool to concurrently maintain available ports, code to maintain an XML file for data storage.
· Added functionality to pull and display reports from TransUnion Background Data Solutions. Included creating new AJAX driven JSP pages, several additional Java classes to robustly handle report pulling, database changes to accommodate additional report information, a large XSLT document to parse and display the returned XML report.
· Added XSS protection and extensive URL encryption to an existing application.
· Built large SQL stored procedures to return data for reporting.
· Integrated third party libraries such as xFire, CXF, JAXB, and Apache commons.
