• Product Scope: global consumer website; tesla.com, in-store digital experiences, consumer native app, enterprise software design, manufacturing software design, global Tesla Design System, Tesla Operating System and multiple new business lines such as Tesla Insurance, upgrades & subscriptions, financing and more
• Team Scope: VP level scope transforming, growing and leading the centralized global UX design team. Established processes, design ops, career ladders/levels and UX specific goals for the team.
Highlights & Accomplishments:
• Created and interactive exhibit and many board level presentations for the Tesla Board of Directors
• Changed the automotive industry in how cars are delivered which helped scaled the business exponentially
• Drove the North American Charging Standard [NACS] for charging EVs and opening up the Supercharging network to beyond Teslas globally
• Envisioned, designed and built the Tesla Operating System saved the company ~$500 million of dollars (in licensing costs), helped protect company data by only exposing data necessary by an employees role and improved job efficiency of every employee at Tesla
