Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for

I lead Recitation sections, hold office hours, grade homework and exams, and most of all, help and encourage students to continue to study Computer Science

Our goal is to use a large dataset of bird images (iNaturalist dataset) to create an SSD (single-shot detection) multi-box detector using TensorFlow. After the model has been successfully created, trained, and validated, we will use the model to identify individual bird species and estimate species populations captured using a camera attached to a single board computer like an Nvidia Jetson or Google coral.

Organize and budget for social events every semester.

• Built a full-stack internal spreadsheet generation tool with React frontend and AWS Lambda backend with API Gateway to simplify Q4 preparation.

• Took ownership of entire project from design to implementation to testing (unit & integration) to presentation.

• The tool will reduce the team’s workload by several weeks every year and lower the chances of mistakes.
