I build the systems that help product teams do their best work, not just more efficiently, but with clarity about why it matters.

At Rapid7, I designed and implemented the company's first formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), establishing phase gates, ownership clarity, and execution visibility across Product, Design, and Engineering. From there, I built the maturity roadmap to scale it org-wide.

I operationalized an Execution delivery model that aligned cross-functional teams around capacity planning, quality standards, and delivery health, turning ambiguous ownership into shared accountability.

I also built and launched Knowledge Central, a centralized product delivery knowledge system that consolidated process documentation, tooling guidance, and hygiene dashboards, reducing friction for teams and improving onboarding efficiency and execution consistency.

Stepping into Design Operations, my focus shifted from designing experiences to building the infrastructure that allowed the design team to work with greater clarity, consistency, and momentum.

My first initiative was developing a process for tackling "papercut problems," small but compounding friction points that erode the customer experience over time. By creating a framework to identify and resolve these within a single sprint, I gave the team a repeatable way to address pain before it accumulated.

From there I program managed Rapid7's migration of its Design System to MUI at the platform level, a cross-functional effort that required both technical coordination and stakeholder alignment. I also drove Jira adoption across the UX team, clarified documentation practices, and established meeting rituals to sustain collaboration and momentum across design squads.

On the tooling side, I led Pendo enablement efforts across product teams, organized "Pendo Day," a company-wide learning event connecting teams with Pendo experts, and established a cross-functional task force to systematically address gaps heading into 2025 and 2026.

I led the UX for Rapid7's Detection & Response product, owning the Investigations experience for both external customers and our internal Security Operations Center. My focus was on meaningful quality of life improvements and connecting Investigations to a new Alert Triage experience, solving fundamentally the same problems for two distinct but parallel audiences.

Recognizing that Investigations was long overdue for a larger reimagining, I also facilitated future-state workshops that brought cross-functional teams together around a shared vision for what the experience could become, planting the seeds for a more substantial overhaul down the road.

The foundation of my Detection & Response work, where I first embedded within the D&R product team and began developing deep expertise in the Investigations experience and the complex needs of security operations users.
