Payments API

Established technical product direction in alignment with company strategy and key objectives. Directed the development and delivery of critical payment and payout solutions in the API. Fostered cross-functional collaboration and mentored several engineers.

Search Infrastructure

Developed scalable search platform at Stripe, managing petabytes of data to power both internal and external search functionality. Collaborated closely with product teams to develop search use cases. Led initiatives to optimize search indexing pipelines and reduced operational toil.

Managed a team of 5 software developers to build Whitepages mobile app from scratch in React Native.

Successfully launched and maintained the mobile app on both iOS and Android platforms, achieving 4.6 stars with 682k monthly active users on iOS and 4.3 stars with 147k monthly active users on Android.

Built, maintained, and deployed all Whitepages websites in Ruby on Rails for 35 million unique users a month. Mentored software engineering interns and new grads as they started a career in tech.

Liaison between UW Dream Project and Cleveland High School. Organize college mentors, contact Cleveland students and work with Cleveland administration.
