As a Principal Software Engineer and Architect on TED's Digital Products team, I report directly to the Head of Digital Products and work with stakeholders to lead some of TED's core technical products. My work has helped to power TEDx, the TED Fellows program, TED-ED, and many other aspects of TED's mission. I take enormous pride in TED's mission of spreading ideas, how it has touched the world, and the contributions I have been able to make through my work.

As a member of the Multimedia Development team I was responsible for maintenance and development of MLB's home grown digital asset management and provisioning systems which handled live streaming, editing, encoding, archiving, syndication, and distribution of all of MLB's video assets for public consumption, internal use, and strategic partnerships.

These systems powered multiple major video streaming services including MLB.tv, NHL.tv, HBO Now, WWE, ESPN, and SONY. Disney eventually acquired MLB's streaming technology as the basis for its Disney+ streaming video service.

Lead engineer responsible for the daily operations of United Media's web sites and infrastructure, including dilbert.com, comics.com, and snoopy.com. Additionally, I was responsible for maintenance and development of the Comics Extra B2C paid subscription product.

As a software developer at MTV Networks I was responsible for the message board system and mass email campaigns that powered various MTV web properties, including mtv.com, vh1.com, and sonicnet.com.
