As I became more Senior at Sure, I worked on / maintained a multitude of different tools and products including an internal CLI for improved AI tooling, a React Component Library, and additional state expansions as a tech lead.

After working on the Toggle product for a few years, I architected a multi-region / multi-partner configuration layer to handle various state and partner-based logic which enabled us to ship new states faster and with more accuracy. I also developed Deno microservices to improve the developer experience for emails and documents.

The Frontend role at Sure during this time really allowed me to specialize and dive deeper into frontend frameworks. During this time, I worked on implementing pixel-perfect CSS and responsive UI's for new partners like Toyota and Carvana. I also helped expand the existing Toggle auto state offerings to states like California and Texas.

As a Software Engineer II at JPL, built a full stack Django and React waiver application to digitize paper-based JPL document workflows. This reduced physical waiver signing turnaround from weeks to same-day for projects like MARS2020 and Europa Clipper. I also developed a cloud-based application to retrieve 1,000+ monthly review records from 4 JPL systems and consolidate them into a single centralized dashboard. These records were pulled on a cron job and had an SQS queue to handle failed downloaded. JPL is where I learned core principles around CI/CD pipelines, strong code standards, and smart architectural decisions.

Currently developing a flexible GraphQL-based Content Management System platform called Float which provides a free and simple way to manage data for frontend data-reliant applications.
