• One of five software engineers responsible for developing and maintaining software stack for a~75 person 3D printing startup. One of two engineers responsible for the web and data platform
• Led the end-to-end development of features for internal and customer facing 3D printer tooling, starting from Figma UI mockup and user workflows, to implementation and deployment
• Tech stack primarily consisted of a Vue.js front-end with a Node.js back-end and PostgreSQL database. Services were deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using AppEngine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, and Auth0 authentication
• Developed task tracking system that formalized process for service requests and increased visibility into printer status. Feature included Slack integration enabling frictionless communication between tools. System has tracked over 1000 tasks to date
• Architected cloud (GCP) and PostgreSQL infrastructure for internal tools and customer web portal, enabling printer tracking, print data management, and print analysis as a lead engineer overseeing these critical tools
• Developed and maintained customer-facing application for 3D printer with Electron, Vue.js, Node.js for seamless print file handling, print initiation, progress oversight, and real-time controls
• Streamlined manufacturing operations by automating the installation of software, firmware, and configuration files using python. Automation prevented combinatorial explosion of software/firmware configs which significantly reduced errors and printer downtime
• Worked closely with software director on quarterly planning for feature development and strategic roadmapping
