Amazon Pharmacy is online pharmacy offered by Amazon to the end users. At high level, it provides Amazon retail like experience for Pharmacy domain but it has its own compliance and healthcare intricacies which makes it unique and is set up as parallel flow in parity with Amazon retail.

Continued the work in space of backend, event driven, push based systems that operate at tremendous scale to process all the items in Amazon catalog to compute the exportability for different programs to serve international customers a great experience.

• Contributed significantly in the work of core architecture.

• Single handedly led the launches enabling exports feature on new Amazon marketplaces - UAE, Netherlands, Australia, India.

• Led the Atlas side on umbrella project called Offshore marketplace, where Amazon products listing would be rendered on partners e-commerce marketplace.

Team: Atlas platform (Export Eligibility Platform)

Overview: Compute the exportability of all items in Amazon catalog in different source countries to deliver a great international consumer experience.

I was part of Amazon Exports & Eligibility platform, which is responsible for making Amazon products exportable to more than 75 countries in the world. The most important part of project is to calculate import and custom fees based on the shipping address and charge the customer, which makes the delivery easy so that customer does not have to worry about any legal custom/import issues.

• Applied technical skill (big data) set to immediately drive incubation progress of several key PoC’s across the company.

• Reported into the Office of the CTO, but receive assignments via EMC’s product-oriented Business Units/Global Centers of Excellence.

• Aided in the technical management of full Innovation Network portfolio of ideas currently being incubated across EMC
