• Used Scala to implement Spark applications using AWS EMR to automatically create hourly snapshots of all company data from incoming data and past snapshots

• Replaced current system involving concurrent usage of tens of AWS Lambdas, adding scalability and logging

• Responsible for entire application, including automatic provisioning and internal configuration of clusters
