• Worked within a fast-paced and dynamic team of software, hardware,
firmware, and test engineers to create prototypes and production devices
for both government and corporate customers
• Designed and implemented extensible and reusable software modules, in a
custom Polymer and Node.js framework, to help solve problems in areas of
telecommunications, networking, IOT, and user interaction
• Developed several Android applications from the ground up, including a
Wear OS application which allowed users to connect via Bluetooth Low
Energy to specific external devices from a smartwatch, to receive status
updates and send commands across an encrypted connection
• Worked on an IOT system for the Japanese government, as part of the
Smart Cities Alliance, which consolidated data from a variety of sensors and
performed user specified actions based on the incoming data
• Participated in the ongoing development and enforcement of a set of coding
standards and best practices for a team of 10 developers, to insure
production code was uniform and high quality
