In charge of a number of microservices across the engineering org with primary ownership of our services to manage geospatial data, images and videos (assets), as well as authentication and authorization (login/registration).

Member of a full stack team in charge of messaging and notifications to users. Maintained microservices responsible for facilitating the company's Message Center, as well as a suite of services for sending email, push, and SMS and the associated scheduling.

Rotation 3 - Additive Manufacturing (San Ramon, CA)

• Cloud-enabling industrial-scale laser 3D printers onto GE’s Predix platform

• Implementing cloud and edge-based Python analytics to reduce build maintenance costs through automation of print monitoring and performance

• Creating dashboards and microapps for real-time monitoring and alerts of printing job status using Go, Polymer, & Vue.js

Rotation 2 - Operations Optimization (San Ramon, CA)

• Contributed to the implementation of Spark-based analytic runtime framework which executes algorithms to generate insights to drive informed decision making and optimization of manufacturing efficiency

• Implemented tenancy-based visual and computational streaming capabilities using Kafka, JavaScript, and Polymer to be fed into Spark runtime for efficient and loss-less invocation of analytics

• Co-developed analytic to generate forecasted production output based on previous timeseries data

Rotation 1 - Brilliant Manufacturing Suite (Boston, MA)

• Designed, developed, and implemented a new web application for scheduling factory work orders

• Integrated scheduling algorithm into Java Spring backend, improving scalability and speed of existing capabilities

Worked as a member of an Agile Scrum team to develop and maintain the HMI/SCADA product Proficy Cimplicity, an on-premise software suite consisting of more than 10 million lines of code written majorly in C/C++. Throughout the internship, I leveraged static code analysis to identify and fix various security flaws, upgraded the outdated password storage system for users, and refactored large swaths of code to ensure all functions used their secure counterparts.
