• Designed and prototyped next generation 3D printer from proof of concept phase to a functional prototype
• Prototypes were capable of reducing peel and compression forces on the part by over 10 times to improve fine features, overhangs, and layer accuracy
• Developed print tests to characterize the impacts of low peel and compression forces on print support structures, support density, and touch tip size
• Conducted experiments to validate gasket design and material compatibility for sealing against resin, water, and IPA for Form 2 build platforms
• Completed user testing for new part removal tools to compare effectiveness and ease of use between current and proposed tools
• Developed DOEs to investigate relationships between glass fill composition, blade geometry, and failure removal for Form 2 wiper
