● Developed game tools and systems in addition to maintaining IT game services. Duties included:
● Development and maintenance of Funtown's Reward System. Systems included a queue server, consumer and underlying business model.
● Development and maintenance of AVA's GM Tool, a tool used by CS to access player data, send/remove items, transmit in-game announcements and retrieve game logs. Data for the tool was retrieved from an Oracle DB.
● Development and maintenance of the front-end for Four Story's In-Game Web Mall, a web-based in-game interface for players to purchase game items. Also developed and maintained the back-end for managing game items on the Web Mall.
● Managed projects in the IT department and coordinated cross-team communication to complete business objectives. Oversaw game launch and software development. Projects included:
● Coordinated closure of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning in Taiwan market.
● Coordinated launch of Manguan Mahjong, a single player mahjong game based on Japanese mahjong rules.
● Coordinated development and deployment of Mahjong Event Tools for quickly creating and deploying new events to increase player CCU.
