Specifically hired as one of development leaders to design and implement a component model middleware solution to consolidate 12 disparate systems into a single pub/sub broker. These legacy systems processed extremely high volumes of both messages and files of back-office/post-trade transactions in CICS and z/OS batch, as well as on distributed platforms.
The original CDTS (Common Data Transfer Service) project objective was to develop a single solution to process all WMQ messages and files into and out of DTCC, as well as to provide a solid base for development of all future middleware/integration applications and data transfer protocols.
Was part of the core group responsible of development and deployment to replicate z/OS CDTS (zCDTS) functionality in a distributed CDTS (dCDTS) using WebSphere Message Broker/IBM Integration Bus on Linux and z/Linux platforms using Oracle in data centers in Europe and Asia.
Some significant tasks related to CDTS:
• Fully responsible for DB2 to Oracle data load , resolving all data discrepancies and DB differences
• Participated in all aspects of CDTS runtime and monitoring technical design and development, with significant influence in design and development of CDTS Web-based User Interface (UI).
• Served as a technical project lead on multiple stand-alone projects
