Travaras is working to provide authentic, immersive travel experiences while prioritizing sustainability and respecting local cultures. Unlike traditional online travel marketplaces (e.g. Expedia, GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor), Travaras vets local partners to ensure that every trip has a positive impact on the local community. Their mission is to normalize environmental transparency and cultural mindfulness within the travel industry. Travel doesn't need to be a guilty experience, Travaras is working to change that.

OffsetC (formerly ZeroMe) is an early-stage startup centered around empowering and educating eco-conscious drivers to understand the carbon impact of their gas purchases, improve climate literacy and transparency about carbon offset projects, and to streamline the purchasing of our portfolio of vetted carbon credits. OffsetC is working to improve consumer education so everyone knows what to look for when evaluating the health and impact of carbon credit projects.

As the design team lead, I facilitated the weekly critiques, created the roadmap and design team goals to ensure cohesion and regular feedback, collaborated with the research team to identify goals for user research, distributed product requirements and features, and led cross functional syncs and handoffs to ensure engineering and design alignment.

Through Climatebase, I was able to:
