• EcoCart is a e-commerce API that integrates sustainability into online shopping. Current projects include:

– frontend and backend integrations on the Shopify app and merchants admin panel

– web scraper for relevant product and company data on Shopify storefronts

As part of the Biochemistry and Biophysics department, I run the x-ray crystallography facility at UCSF Mission Bay.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting various laboratory instruments / equipment (protein crystallization imagers, high-throughput liquid handlers, etc.) and their associated software

• Training new users on facility equipment and protocols for crystallographic data collection / experimentation

• Working closely with UCSF researchers to develop new research pipelines for high-throughput crystallographic data collection / experimentation

• Keeping up-to-date documentation on facility equipment / inventory / finances, research protocols, and websites

I worked under Ronald Fearing, Ph.D., and Ethan Schaler, M.S., to design, fabricate, and test multi-level, thin-film repulsive force electrostatic actuators. Iterative designs were made using CAD software, laser-micromachining, and 3D printing. Applications include beam direction with a micro-mirror with 2-DoF actuation and lightweight vibrating robot.
