At Talkspace, I am a big part of all front-end technology decisions and patterns. I focus highly on providing my teammates with an easy to use and understand codebase, that puts developer experience first in order to make creating features in React painless and easy to do. This includes code reusability, shared modules, component libraries, networking and cross-frame communication, linting, and CI pipelines.

The foundation that I have helped create on the front-end at Talkspace has allowed us to create features that are responsive, easy to deploy, predictable, reusable and testable.

While I also work in the backend using NodeJS, my main focus is in our ReactJS web apps.

At Talkspace, my role changes quite often. I juggle tasks between the mobile React Native application, the React website, and the NodeJS servers that run the company.

I work on improving the performance of our services, creating and cleaning up test suites, using new technologies for current and new projects, and improving the development experience for my coworkers as much as possible.

Hyr aims to make it easier for business owners and talent to find each other.

Currently developing version 2.0 of Hyr's current application using the React Native framework, using a totally new backend server to improve user's experience with live data using Web Sockets.

As a PSTech Ambassador, my peers and I represented LaGuardia Community College students to companies such as MongoDB, Intersection, Foursquare, and more.

We visited their offices and lead Q&A sessions with the companies' employees and mentors regarding their technologies and their opinion in the various technology fields.

Learned and put to practice Python and Big data analytics tools and principles to analize cancer patients and find trends to predict future people affected by cancer. This REU(Research Experience for Undergraduates) program was funded by the NSF.
