Youtube Responsibility

• Worked within Google Research on the Mobile Vision team to optimize sensor data filtering and data augmentation techniques that would specifically help with a Gesture Recognition project for the Google Pixels

• Created a multi-resolution windowing algorithm that accurately filters 3D phone sensor data to determine start and end points of a lift, and provided extensive documentation on the process and use of this algorithm to my team

• Implemented and analyzed 4 techniques for accelerometer data augmentation to supplement our project datasets

• Analyzed the impact of the filtering and data augmentation techniques using machine learning (TensorFlow) and statistical analyses (t-SNE, PCA, and ICA)

• Worked on the Documents Squad (team of 12 including remote members) to build out a frontend redesign of the Documents tool using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Collaborated with and shadowed our team Product Manager, other software engineers, and UX/UI designers to achieve squad objectives and timeline.

• Utilized TDD (Test Driven Development) by writing testing using Enzyme and Jest for the Documents Squad frontend.

• Worked on the Virtual Design Construction (VDC) squad auditing endpoints, implementing validators and adding foreign key constraints to VDC owned models

• Provided assistance during class lab meetings and support to my professor by grading lab and homework assignments totaling 10 hours of out of class work a week

• Held weekly office hours and helped and average of 15 students a week learn the basics of computer science and trouble shoot their program issues
